LCA (Life Cycle Assessment)

An LCA or Life Cycle Assessment systematically analyzes all environmental impacts of products throughout their lifecycle ("from the cradle to the grave"). It counts all environmental effects, i.e. production, time of usage, and disposal. The term LCA also includes all upstream and downstream processes as well as all raw materials and consumables.

Life Cycle Analysis

A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an analysis of all the environmental impacts of a product throughout its life cycle ("from the cradle to the grave", metaphorically speaking). This can be in the form of a single analysis or a comparison of several products.

LED (Light Emitting Diode)

LED is the abbreviation for Light Emitting Diode. This light source is characterized by its low power consumption. In addition, these small lights last very long.

Light Emissions (Light Pollution)

Excessive light sources can have a negative impact on the nocturnal environment, on people and on biodiversity. Artificial light not only affects the natural environment but can also significantly disrupt the lives of many plants and species. Artificial light in the environment is often perceived as a new form of environmental pollution by the people.
